What remains of the old and new buildings, now both gone? On the last day at Blackburn Road I left with my desk lid, marked by many. Spike was in charge and readily agreed that I could take it. A couple of years later, my mother threw it out. I forgave her.

In 55 years since leaving one collects a tremendous amount of memorabilia, and then dump it along the way. Unfortunately I have nothing from the AGS except a few photographs and some fantastic memories - and a pretty good life which had it's grounding there.

I kept a satchell full of old exercise books for about 5 years after leaving AGS but then threw them away. Pity. However, I still have a copy of Alice In Wonderland that I failed to return to the school library. I wonder how much I owe in fines!

All I have are 2 School photos for 1959 & 1963. Is there any further movement on rescanning the photos onto the Website

I have a tea trolley and a bed tray which I made with the help and guidance of Pop Cordingley. They are still in good condition and used regularly.

I have to confess that I also have a book on calligraphy, a subject I was introduced to by Mr Butcher, the art teacher, who I am sure had a nickname, but which I can't remember. I borrowed the book from the library and found, to my surprise, I still had when I got married in 1967. I meant to take it back (honest, your honour!), but never got round to it.

I, too, have a School 'photo from 1963.

Re the 'Gallery' progress.  I'm still having problems with 'integrated' photo page.  Am trying a 'stand alone' programme, which, if it fills the bill (and does not consume too much server space) I'll implement a.s.a.p
